The Best Brewery in Downtown El Monte

Perez recently had the pleasure of creating a new mural at Progress on Main, a trendy brewery located in downtown El Monte. The mural is a vibrant, 3d, calligraffiti mandala, painted in shades of turquoise and yellow, that measures 10 feet wide by 8 feet tall. The design features a stylized combination of calligraphy and graffiti strokes, with several hidden messages within the wall mural.

One of the unique aspects of this mural is the way that it creates a sense of depth, with the inner ring of the mandala appearing as the deepest part of the painting. This effect was achieved through the careful layering of the colors and strokes and creates a captivating visual experience for viewers.

What’s more, this mural is just one of several impressive murals on display at Progress on Main. Kim Tabay, who is a good friend of Perez, has also contributed to the space with her sacred geometry-inspired lion mural, which is a focal point of the brewery’s interior. In addition, she has another large mural on display in the outdoor area.
